Pg. 99 - "The Germans took some 254,000 prisoners, excluding a considerable number of Croat, German, Hungarian, and Bulgarian nationals who had been inducted into the Yugoslav Army and who were quickly released after screening."

Conclusion: If we know that Croats are inhabitted in Croatia and Vojvodina together with Hungarians and Germans, than Bulgarians who were inducted into the Yugoslav Army and were captured by Nazi Germans, probably are from Vardarska Banovina (present-day FYROM).
